The two platforms have separate logins for authors. BookBub and Author Websites both offer excellent tools to establish and grow your author platform, but you don’t need to use one to use the other.
If you have yet to publish your first book, we’d recommend starting with Author Websites — you don’t need a book to start building your website or landing pages.
