If you don’t already own a domain name, you can register one through your Author Websites dashboard by visiting the Domain page and selecting “I want to choose a new domain”.
What should I choose for my domain name?

However, you can choose any available domain name for your website. The search field in your dashboard will inform you whether the domain name you want to use is available.
Can I change my domain once I’ve registered it?
Once your domain name has been registered, it can’t be changed — make sure you choose carefully!
If you decide you’d like to replace your domain name and register a new one, please reach out to our team at authorwebsites@bookbub.com. Please note that registering a new domain may incur a $15 registration fee.
I registered a domain through my dashboard and no longer want to host my website with Author Websites. What happens to my domain?
We can transfer ownership of your domain to you beginning 60 days after your domain was registered. Please note that a domain transfer incurs a fee from the domain registrar you decide to use. If you don’t want us to transfer your domain, we will release it one year after its registration date, after which it will again be available for registration. Reach out to us at authorwebsites@bookbub.com and we’ll work with you to get your domain transferred.
