Should you transfer your domain?
Not sure whether transferring your domain is the right choice for you? Check out this overview of the options for connecting an existing domain to your Author Websites account.
If you’d like to transfer your domain to Author Websites, please send the following to authorwebsites@bookbub.com:
- The email address your Author Websites account is registered with
- The domain name you’d like to transfer
- Your domain transfer authorization code (you can request this from your current registrar)
Once we have this information, we can initiate the transfer process. This process typically takes 7-10 days.
Please note: When you transfer your domain, Author Websites becomes your domain registrar. This means you will be charged annually for your domain renewal in addition to your monthly subscription.
A domain transfer cannot be undone. Should you want to connect your domain to a different host after transferring, you will need to initiate a new domain transfer.
